Wow, that name had me flicking across my tabs to get it right, lol. I found an online tool called Mediaconvert that converts your files for free and so I managed to convert and upload the entire movie I was talking about yesterday to Youtube. Check it out! And let me know if you like it, because I have a handful of these and I'll upload them if you want to see.

I think so too. I set it to only be viewable by those who have the link and not come up under a search so far, because I don't own the copyright and don't want to get busted. Do you think I'd be safe to add tags and let others see it?

The worst thing they'll do is send you a warning that if you don't take it down they'll shut down your youtube channel, (and how hard is it to make another one? I have at least four.) and that will only happen if someone who owns the copyright cares enough to search for it and pursue the matter, which isn't likely. There is so much copyrighted stuff on youtube that no-one is doing anything about.

How come you have so many, if I may ask..? Maybe I'll make a new one anyway before I upload all this stuff. I'm sick of my psycheopteryx username. I feel like a fresh youtube start would be good. :) And you're probably right. I saw a warning video someone uploaded about how youtube could put you in jail but I see truckloads of copyrighted stuff on there all the time, and it's not a great enough quality imo to make it a crime. These are so obscure, if anything it could open people's eyes to them and make them hunt down a (rare) boxed set of the originals.

Do you have a cool favourites list anywhere? I don't take my youtubing seriously enough methinks. I need to spend more time creating a cool favourites list. Unfortunately it's a bit like making sandcastles in the sand...

More like a really uncool favorites list. I also have lots of playlists but I seem to have forgotten how to make new ones which is frustrating me. It seems like every time I get the hang of youtube they change the rules.

My playlist should earn me a slap with a wet fish. It's pitiful compared to the flashes of intuition I sometimes have about how it could or should be. It's a matter of how much time you want to dedicate to it I guess.

So you better be adding these short movies to your faves! I'll upload more tomorrow. To come: Hedgehog in the Fog, Crocodile, Contact, and The Dinosaurs are Extinct. :) And maybe a few more for giggles.

Yay. :) You'll love them. Contact is good but the other three are amazing.

And now I know how to upload to youtube I am going to have to stop myself going nuts uploading the sesame clips I spliced into teaching aids when i was doing that... because they could be useful to others. I shared them as a torrent, for use in classrooms, and got good feedback. I'm not sure if the youtube format would be as useful. Maybe for parents. Hmmm..
